Whimsy is fancy and playful and often magical. It is joy dressed up in a wizard, fairy-princess costume.

Trinkets are little things that bring you joy. They're not gadgets; they don't usually do anything. Their purpose is happiness.

People need to embrace joy. Cynicism might literally be killing them.
