What's wrong with getting married for money? As long as your upfront about it and the other person is ok with it then what's the problem?

I really want to get married. It's my plan to marry someone who is rich and become a stay at home wife. I don't have much going for me and it's the only way I can think of to get rich and not work at Burger King forever.

I mean arranged marriages are a thing and often times the family is picking someone with good income potential and its been done for that reason for a long time. I personally don't see doing it for that reason but I tell you relationships are that much tougher if money is tight. 90% of marital problems in my experience are money related.

The reason most marital problems are money related though doesn’t have to do with the amount of money; it has to do with both partners’ priorities and skill in handling it. If they aren’t compatible, it’ll become painfully obvious a lot faster than other incompatibilities in the relationship.

I mean I can tell you for certain my own experiences are due to amount of money. Both my wife and I are pretty good about being modest in our wants. Lack of money is the issue along with the stress it causes.
