Yup I see them too. Before we bought our place we actually looked at prefab. They are not what people think (trailer park) nowadays. I mean you can go with a really cheap builder and the quality isn’t great. But lots of the prefab builders we looked at build quality homes. You can go full custom within the shapes and sizes they offer. It’s incredible. They are structurally much sturdier because of the transport as well. We were super impressed. We just couldn’t find a piece of land and ended up buying an existing acreage. I would totally go for prefab though if I need a new house. Just for the fact that’s it’s built indoors and not by traveling trades and exposed to the elements during build.
