Campaign 3 was all about Matt's story and nothing else. It was shown repeatedly that player choice mattered far less than the story Matt wanted to tell. Campaign 3 showcases Matt's worst Dm'ing. Also all the God bullshit, they should not try to tell a story about religion when not a single one of them gives a shot about it.
