All I did was say they're lucky and how I'm not fairing in my temperature. I didn't do the whole 'You call that hot huh?, i'll show you hot!" shit. So no, I won't stop making light conversation about the weather.

Ironically you're the one yucking someones yum by 'ew'ing my preference.

It's the same thing, changing the words doesn't matter. They aren't "lucky" when people are literally dropping dead from the heat. People aren't "lucky" from suffering the effects of climate change. Grow. Up.
I'm on the same continent so I'm allowed to yuck your yum. It's only shitty when you, an Australian, do it to folks in places where it gets proper cold. They're buildings are designed for -10°C and lower, not 30°C and higher.

Edit: If you're such a sook you can't deal with 14°C days then move to FNQ!

People literally fucking drop dead from the cold too. And hypothermia can set in from 10c, so about the temperature I'm having to wake up in and get ready at 3am in my cold and damp house from the 60s with no ac or heating.

And no, you're not. You're a not some special person allowed to go around and needlessly be a jerk and act like you're protecting people from the behaviour you exhibit.

Yes and you can get heatstroke at 15C. Both are wildly uncommon. A definitional strawman of a point to make.

Literally 0C is not even coat-weather. Barely putting on pants or breaking out sleeves.

Bestie, you used kind sounding words but you were literally a jerk telling someone who's experiencing a heatwave that they're lucky. Do you seriously not see how problematic that is? You're not special because you didn't say the specific words "That's not hot".

I very much doubt you have zero heating, that's illegal under the housing/tenancy code of every single state where it gets that cold. Otherwise I dunno, get a better landlord or go to your state's housing tribunal ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Edit: Or buy a $30 fan heater from Kmart like...?
