This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.
See this GitHub page for a collection of sources about socialism, imperialism, and other relevant topics.
This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.
We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.
Rules:
- No bigotry, anti-communism, pro-imperialism or ultra-leftism (anti-AES)
- We support indigenous liberation as the primary contradiction in settler colonies like the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Israel
- If you post an archived link (excluding archive.org), include the URL of the original article as well
- Unless it's an obvious shitpost, include relevant sources
- For articles behind paywalls, try to include the text in the post
- Mark all posts containing NSFW images as NSFW (including things like Nazi imagery)

Deeply reactionary and awful takes, combined with the Gonzaloites having domination over the Reddit subs related to Marxism, makes it pretty much unusable.
This is intentional. The left cultural sphere in the west is dominated by fringe nutter groups and libs with red face paint. If you cant erase it, best make incoherent.
I do see the problems of developing an anti-imperialist movement in the belly of empire resulting in incoherent and reactionary opportunism, plus Reddit by nature prunes the leftists and keeps those that do more harm to the left than help, like the Gonzaloites.
literally on /r/communism right now is a post talking about how the shining path is actually the best example of communism ever conceived lol...
how did /r/communism get captured by some of the most niche and shunned sects of communism?
This happened after the "tankie purge". I have seen it even in real life organizations for instance, "off putting" and "not a good look" ml's get pushed aside for socdems or just one well liked leadership individual (who follows a specific label) manages to bully out those who oppose them.
I would guess that by banning the ML subreddits and users like in GenZhou and GenZedong, the ones left are the MLMpMs and other ultraleftists.
Yeah, the main Communism sub too.
For sure. Not sure if these spaces can be reclaimed, but they are useful to Reddit because they make communism seem terrible.
Exactly.
