I think I was in 6th grade when we spent a week or more watching a movie called "The Wave" I think I'm going to force my children to watch it now that they're about that age.

Holy shit - you just awakened a memory of watching that in civics class in high school in the 1980s. I had forgotten the name of it, but it left an impact on me.
