Assuming you're American; did I just read an American claim that they don't have weapons to protest?

For starters, you have plenty of guns in the US. But really, why would you need them? Look at for example France, they don't have guns either, but they manage to oppose the government when they oppose government policy. You don't need guns to mount a protest.

I'm American, just not North American, or currently living in the USA. I can't really answer your question without advocating for violence and getting my comment removed, but let me put it this way: No Kings protest was the biggest in the USA recorded history, and then nothing came from it. Still not so slowly descending into fascism.
