And the behemoth spoke, delivering a message forwarded from beyond the tar pits: "Child, hear my words. Do not become a giant! Do not try to dominate! My kind are long dead. Remain as small, agile groups, free to roam and mix at will — a federation, if you will, not a megafauna. Move fast and adapt! Heed my warning or perish!"
