I mean, you said you just want to feel normal for a while. In that case, there is a very obvious answer - booze!
But long term, the solitions will be more mundane - diet, exercise, sleep, mindfulness techniques, and removing external causes of stress in your life.
Everything I've read and experienced has indicated that the solution is to engage with these sensations, thoughts, and feelings, rather than trying to avoid them.
