That is because right wing ideology is always two-tiered. There are the rubes who are in it for the hate and bigotry, and there are the leaders who are in it for the power and wealth. The leaders absolutely cares about instituting a tyranny, because that makes their job of funnelling money into their own pockets much easier.

That being said, your average maga voters definitely doesn't mind a tyranny of their own leaders. That is all part of "owning the libs" and "winning" to them as well.
