I don't think Greece is a carless country. Far from it in my limited experience.

I was thinking this. Reading the article, they're implying a Mediterranean layout. And I'm guessing Greece is the most Mediterranean they can get without scaring white folks.

I don't think they have any idea. Yes in Greece everything is car dependant.

Yeah, just returned from Athens - there’s even a highway running along the shore, and the city itself is swarming with cars.
