Two bunnies sit in two coffee mugs, all strewn about a shelf surrounded by many more mugs, all different colors and shapes. One of the mugs says "world's best bun" on it.

How do you know it says "best"? Maybe it's first or worst. Or longest.

I think it's a reasonable expectation considering what's usually written on mugs.

Also, I think the alt text is written by the comic's illustrator, which makes it "canon".
