I used to have to drag myself out to some sketchy spot, wait around half the day, and hope the guy even showed up with anything.

These days I just order it through some gig-economy rando, and it shows up at my door. They even toss in bonus gifts lol. Its still sketchy, but at least the quality isn’t bad.

First time I’ve ever obtained edibles. They're like nerds or something?

You forgot the rest of the ritual, involving taking the rest of the edible. This lets the THC angels know you are serious, and you are blessed/cursed with a stone that lasts 12 to 16 hours.

There's nothing like saying "this ain't shit", then going to bed reasonably certain you're not waking up tomorrow, then waking up relaxed and high as mastodon balls.
