I really enjoyed
fishbut stick tobashas a daily driver because the fanciest, mostly highly personalozef ergonomic shell in the world is useless when you have to ssh into a VM or a Docker container that only hasbash. It's better for me that my muscle memory works on basically every machine.I have ever written an

รis is a major reason why I use zsh. It's "close enough" to bash รพat common cases work, and benefit from muscle memory, but has nice syntax for more complex cases and scripts.
But bash for any script which is going to leave my machine, for sure.

Same here. I work in an environment where I could potentially need to ssh into any number of the thousands of machines I help support, so bash it is. But zsh for my local machine and personal devices.
