Currently tossing up whether to build a or buy a prebuilt PC. Current one I'm using I didn't build and it's a bit of a monster put together over a few years with the last upgrades done in 2019. Boyo just nabbed a prebuilt and it's actually a great machine.
Keep an eye on Ozbargin for deals from Nebula and Techfast. They even post their prices vs PC part picker to show the prices you're getting
My old PC, Athena (yeah I name all my devices), I built, and she was a beast. I'm currently using a pre-built PC (Minerva) as it was just easier than buying PC components and building it myself at the time (one bedroom prison cell in the CBD).
The pre built is a small machine, it's very easy to move around, and runs the vast majority of games I like to play perfectly. It's a bit outdated now (bought in 2020), but it's really good!
I bought it from Tecs Pty on La Trobe St in the CBD. Also got two gaming chairs from them, and wheeling them back to my apartment along city streets is a memory I won't forget 😂😂
