The switch won't be instant but we are moving into that direction. When contracts run out with US tech firms they won't be renewed and alternatives will be sought out. Slowly but surely.

As the alternatives start to gain market share, their products will become more feature rich. This will lower the barrier for adoption and increase the rate of transition.
