One wonders what they think they're accomplishing by shitting on those who are using the tools they have to find paths forward through this mess. Maybe they can't wait for a civil war, imagining themselves to be future heroes of some fantastic, glorious revolution. Or maybe they secretly like the idea of the unstoppable dictator they pretend to oppose.

I don't get how the people complaining that law doesn't work get a free pass because they've "given up" but you're dunking on this guy for doing what you suggest. Getting the word out that law is the only thing working right now is exactly what he's doing.

The Internet has made everyone think their opinion is worth sharing no matter how ignorant or useless it is [ETA: I don't mean you!]. The people he's knocking are the exact people who should be taking your advice, not him.

It's still several steps above of spreading misinformation and useless negativity.

How is this worse than throwing you hands up and shouting "Don't try because it only works sometimes"? Or even worse, "don't try because it never works"?
