Shoestring fries are probably my favourite. But they're unhealthy so need to be eaten in moderation, same for crisps.

Wedges can be risky. I've had a bunch that haven't been cooked well. They're easy to prepare at home but isn't that just kinda a rustic style roast?

Mashed, serves a purpose as a side, base or pie crust. You can zhoosh it up with things like cheese, garlic and bacon then feed it to your GF while she's having a hard time.

Roast - Classic.

Boiled - Intermediary state. Reminds me of of culinary devoid Irish grandma.

Scollop potato Like a cheese and potato bake, makes me think of celebratory meals, eg. xmas.

Potato Gratin. Tried the aldi one once and it was okay but one of my favourite things about potato is that it's cheap.
