You're acting like paying for things always, or even usually supports creators. It does not.

Bullshit. I did not. However, it does if they're indie.

I spend a lot of time in LA, and do this for movies. Kinda. Not as much as i should, and i try not to be creepy about it.

Part of it is just remembering to tip my server when dining out, to support actors.

Good. At least you're admitting it's all just an excuse that you don't even follow through on.

To act like you aren't just a leach. Don't give an excuse if you don't need one. You clearly felt the need to give one.

This would be such a burn if society were allowed to exist. Isn't though. I'm proud of not contributing to that shit. I have never paid any tax but sales tax and e-waste recycling tax in my life.

Not counting that time i bought all those lottery tickets (long story, not stupid in the ways you would assume)

No i was saying i pay them at the job where they make rent. Because art rarely pays the bills. I apologize for the subtlety.

I genuinely wanted to give them a thing. Ideally something more valuable that you can't get with just money. I'm not going to worry overmuch about not.
