Remember when Lando benefitted from the 10 second penalty in Silverstone and everyone heaped on Piastri for asking for the place back? Iโ€™m not sure how this was any different.

Still very painful but respect how he handled it. Thinking longterm is the wise thing to do. Hope he gets the WDC, he totally deserves it.

That was a mistake Piastri made, today's wasn't Norris

Not sure if this is right or not but it sounds like a distinction worth considering

No not necessarily a mistake on Norrisโ€™ behalf, but he did choose to go second in the pit stops and therefore relinquished any lead if it was a dodgy stop, which it was.

I feel like McLaren took the chance factor out of the racing by making them switch spots, which kinda sucks.

That was the stewarding potentially messing up, this was the team fuck up and there were no other cars anywhere near so they were able to fix their own mistake
