If you get in a position to see cellulite, I encourage you not to ruin that for yourself by focusing on it.

I've seen plenty of people with cellulite just walking around with short shorts on. Seeing it doesn't really require an intimate setting.

Who gives a fuck about cellulite. If you're upset about it, you're gonna have a bad time for most of your life.

Upset and disgust are two different things though. But I agree with the sentiment: it helps to be a bit blind and deaf in this world.

My point is if you're disgusted by a fundamental part of the female anatomy, get ready to be lonely.

You seem really perturbed that there are people out there that like/dislike different things.

Would you say the same thing to someone who said "if you don't like feet don't focus on them?" They didn't use the term disgust either, but I know plenty of people who find feet disgusting and seem to continue on with life and relationships just fine.

Yeah but if you dislike feet to the point you wouldn't date people with them you're gonna have a bad time. Cellulite has been treated as disgusting especially by the "no fat chicks" crowd.

Are you disgusted by cellulite? If so, why?

I'm not, but if I were, as someone else said in the comments, it would definitely limit my love life. What I said still stands though.

Disgust is a really hard feeling to explain. Surely you have things that disgust you. Unless you are specifically trying to eliminate feeling of disgust because it's getting in the way of healthy living, I don't think there's much utility to trying to examine or explain the feeling. For example. I'm disgusted by mucous. Its a normal thing everyone has. I'm not sure exactly why it disgusts me. I don't want to be undisgusted by it and the disgust I feel is in no way pathological.

I agree completely. But my wife hates that I just keep signing WHAT instead of getting my glasses or hearing aids

[–] Rekorse@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 weeks ago

Is there a way to shout in sign language? Gosh!

Ok. I don't have a "cellulite fetish". But I think I associate it positively because the people that I have seen that have it are usually within my preferred body type and age.

Anyway. My point is just that I don't see it as negative at all. It's like freckles or something. Some people have it and some people don't.

It would be weird if someone thought someone with freckles was ugly because of them. Same goes for cellulite for me.

Im with you there. When i was young it seemed gross, because its what old people look like. Then you get older and its just fine.
