Eh, it wasn't fine, immigration was too low IMO, hence why so many people tried to sneak in. I don't know what the proper level is, but surely it's higher than it is today.

It was broke before Trump 2.0. May wife's still fighting for her 10-year visa. Given that she's 100% qualified, it should be a rubber stamp. I could go on and on as to the ridiculous hassles she's going through.
