I'd like to repurpose an HDD so I have space to download all the tv shows I want to aquire as a cable cutter.

Do I just plug it in and it will Advise me of how to deal with it?

Need those TB for all the junk I wanna torrent

So it can be overwritten even if its encrypted?

Yep, unless it's some crazy hardware level encryption, probably not though. Assuming you're not worried about the data and just want to reuse the drive, just delete the partition(s) and reformat it.

Heard that!

Earlier this year I was owed $20 for a data recovery, but instead of paying me, they gave me two 4TB hard drives and a 2TB hard drive, all in perfect working order.

Needless to say, I consider their debt fully paid.

I also got a nice pair of shoes out of it too. ๐Ÿ‘
