...own them at $1 to $2 each.

Do you actually recieve DRM free files or are they still tied to Bandcamp? I understand we still don't own the song with physical media but a policy change or new license deal at Colombia isn't going to make the disc disappear.

Normal .flac files. Playable and copyable on any computer with no need of specialized hardware or software. Actually easier to secure than CDs or DVDs.
