(I share this observation that I learned as part of my studies in modern history, many years ago at university. I hope it helps you all to have a bit more context. I will not engage in discussions on how this is valid or not for what happened in the past few days in the US. Not everything is about the US, people. I don’t need to understand what „Groypers“ are. The US is just another place where the far-right is taking control)

Ever heard of The Inquisition? That was nothing but a purity test. I'm pretty sure the phrase "purity test" comes straight out of the middle ages and therefore feudalism. I will cite The damn Puritans as a potential source.

Pretty sure you could get accused of being a witch for not being willing to accuse others of being witches, hence a purity test of furvor.

I didn't say feudalists didn't purity test people, I said they didn't do it on the basis of their belief in the right kind of feudalism.

Unless you want to count loyalty to each noble as a different kind of feudalism which is arguably true enough.
