Ever heard of The Inquisition? That was nothing but a purity test. I'm pretty sure the phrase "purity test" comes straight out of the middle ages and therefore feudalism. I will cite The damn Puritans as a potential source.

Pretty sure you could get accused of being a witch for not being willing to accuse others of being witches, hence a purity test of furvor.

I didn't say feudalists didn't purity test people, I said they didn't do it on the basis of their belief in the right kind of feudalism.

Unless you want to count loyalty to each noble as a different kind of feudalism which is arguably true enough.
