I imagine, avocado toast tastes like shit (but have never tried it). Feel free to correct me.
It's a pretty good snack or small breakfast, actually. Top it with some salt and pepper, it's quite nice. Assuming you like avocado, at least.
To me the bigger issue of the argument is that the boomers seem to think it's some extravagant luxury. I can get a good avocado for like a $1.50 - breakfast avocado toast ends up being maybe $2.
Everything bagel, cream cheese, bacon, avocado and pepper. One of my favorite things on this planet to eat.
Correcting you, but caveating with the addition of scramby eggs and hot sauce on top makes it the food of the gods.
If you kick it up a notch, towards a guac, you're into bruschetta territory. How does that NOT taste great?
