I don't remember where I discovered Lantlos, but you're the only other person I have ever seen mention them. Such great music!
Also coming back to edit: I kept thinking "The Prodigy" looked familiar... God, I haven't listened to them in like 15 years. As soon as I saw the crabs on the album cover it all came rushing back hahaha. I had a friend in Jr. High who lent me a bunch of CD's, and that was one of them, I probably still have the original files I ripped sitting around somewhere. As my music taste evolved, that album stuck around and would occasionally pop up in shuffle, completely disparate from what came before and after.
I discovered Lantlos via my Spotify discovery weekly playlist. I like their style. Their dream state like sound infused with progressive metal, is a great sound. I like to space out my liked songs by the same artist, so I can listen to them in order of discovery or time of add. So I don't add more than one song of each artist typically until I have 5-8 songs before them. That being said, I definitely plan on coming back to them in the near future!
I still have an old fabric CD holder from like early 2000s that has albums my older brothers obtained and "obtained" from back then. A lot of it was Pop Punk, Punk Rock and Metal, which I ended up growing my music taste around. I still remember hearing a few songs from The Prodigy's The Fat of the Land album back in the late 90s. My brothers would often play Breathe, Firestarter and Fuel My Fire. Good stuff.
