So, I’ve been trying to find a specific bit of Mac software for a while, and keep coming up blank (any site suggestions?). It’s a pretty common program, and I can find no end of the most recent windows versions, but if there is any for Mac they’re about 10 generations behind, and hardly seeded. I’ve trawled the megathread, to no avail. Any suggestions on where to look?

most people that buy apple hardware probably have enough left to buy the software that runs on the preinstalled os

You know that the second hand market exists, right? I bought my m1 air for £150, so I’ll be fucked if I pay the prices Adobe etc want for software for personal use, even if I didn’t think Adobe’s business model was deplorable.

I know that is off topic here. But you got a steal of a deal. I just sold my 13 year old MacBook on eBay and got almost 100€ for it.
