Wishing a speedy reconciliation for you and the lady. Work being stressful can be a right bastard for exacerbating that kind of situation
Work need to reshuffle every 6 months so top level leadership look like they are doing something. I'm in a fairly big org, my first this size as a permy, is it common?
I couldn't say, I've never had more than couple years at a big one myself, and even then I was not particularly keen to pay any attention to any upper-level office politics if it didn't directly affect me
