This friendly warning really has me rattled. He primarily talks about the fediverse. If he never talks to me again, it would be really bad. Unless I can find a way to make amends for my wrongs, I'll have to face the consequences. What do I do?

I don't know you, and I wouldn't tolerate this intrusion from someone in public, at my door, or in an email. What you chose to be offended by is irrelevant...
