The Name of the Rose 1986
Sean Connery delivers a great performance as an intellectual friar investigating a series of unexplainable deaths at a remote abbey. With the assistance of his young apprentice, Christian Slatter, the two navigate the secret and decisive world of the Church in 14th century Europe.
