Fame. Can you imagine the ego boost of having your own nightly show broadcasting worldwide?
He doesn't wanna risk it to take any stand, and because of that he'll continue to earn his place in history as anything but interesting or extraordinary.
i mean sure but also: can you imagine the ego boost of going down on the right side of history? it's not like the amount of people that would respect him for speaking out is insignificant.
Too long term for him I guess.
