Dude. What are you on about? How is anything I've posted or said in any way related to dark patterns in UX or otherwise? A weekly digest posted to a Lemmy programming community is not any kind of pop-up, unless you've gone to great lengths to make your own lemmy notifications as annoying as possible, or you're using a client that does so on its own. Also, if by trying again later you mean later again somehow implying I should stop posting, don't bother. I will stop posting the day it becomes clear what I post is of benefit to absolutely no one, not whenever some random asshole decides to try to exert dominance.
