If you asked me if Lay's were made with real potatoes, I'm not sure how I'd respond. Depends on the actual question? I'm assuming they're made from bits of potatoes, processed to hell and back and boiled in oil, kinda like Pringles.
We've insisted our food look perfect for so long that the industry responded. How many people would chunk out a chip with a little green or black on it? That's normal. We took tomatoes and bred them to be perfectly pink and round and shiny, lost all the acids and sugars. Now some people think they hate tomatoes because that's all they've ever known.
Anyway, this is marketing pushing potatoes to the forefront to make chips sound healthy and natural. Maybe they will be?
Sounds good.
Sounds even better. But lord, how much more expensive? Don't eat them, don't care.
Can't trust the marketing team, but with RFK banning so many things, some good, some bad, who knows? Wish I could cut that fucker in half (maybe quartered?) and just use the positive ideas out his brain. Reminds me of the Nazis being anti-smoking.
I need to grow some tomatoes!
