My understanding is, with their iterative approach, the fact that the last one spiralled uncontrollably doesn't mean it was a total waste. They got a lot of good data from that and it will apply to future designs.
Starship is so fuckig sick, i really hope we Nationalize SpaceX if Elon keeps going off the rails.
Its been largely government funded as well, im not sure why the government doesn't get stock for funding private companies.
