I have only played STO for a bit long after it’s glory days, and it’s really a shame what they did to that game.

There is so much content that you can play that kind of suggests how great it was when it was fresh, and all of it has been trivialized now in favor of turning the game a constant cash grab.

All depth has been lost, it’s all just about buying the newest ship release for real money, skill trees or how you use your abilities is utterly irrelevant. All that’s left is FOMO every day. Nothing to do in the end game except running through the daily login metrics for a minuscule reward after a month.
