What's up with the newer shows having Vulcans displaying passion and other emotions? I haven't seen Enterprise, but they did it with Strange New Worlds too, which seems to go against their own lore. Vulcans mate once every 7 years during the Pon Forr, not constantly make out like horny teenagers.
He is half human, but T'Pring isn't. In TNG they show Sarek displaying passion, but he's at the end of his life and has a medical condition.
