Not sure if it's a site problem or a fedi problem but right now there's a submission on the frontpage, titled
Will MacAskill on EA: "The demographics of who this appeals to ... The levels of autism ten times the average. Lots of people on the spectrum."
There's a tiny shit-brown garbage pail icon next to it, denoting that it's been deleted by the author. But there are still active links, so if you don't notice that icon, you'll hit the comment link (speech bubble) and get a page saying the submisson cannot be found:
Ideally, if a submission is removed, links to associated pages, like comments, should be deactivated. Maybe the presentation of the submission should be altered too (strikethrough, greyed out) to make it clearer that this is a removed submission.
Interestingly, the link to ExTwitter is still active, so if the submitter decided that this was a bad submission it's still clear what they linked to and what they considered was the meaning of the link...
