Which is perfectly fine. This is digital waste and many other similar services should follow suit.

I wonder if someone ever tallied up the median digital waste used up all over the world. These cost resources and electricity for no valid reason

Agreed. I do clips and screenshots all the time, just to post to our discord to be viewed once by friends and never again.
