Rules:

Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

I have empathy. I've had shitty bosses. Do you think I'm saying to go quit on the spot and then start job hunting? Because that would be really dumb. You apply for new jobs on the clock at your shitty job.
You may not understand this right now, but you are speaking from a place of privilege.
You don't know a damn thing about me. I've been borderline homeless in the past. At least I'm presenting a potential solution, rather than wringing my hands and saying "welp, can't do anything about working for this monster. Guess I'll just stay here forever."

You just don't understand how the world works lol. Do you not understand we're in the middle of a massive labor shortage right now, and have been since the pandemic hit? No one is saying walk out on the spot. Job hunt and continue working, then just stop showing up. Jobs don't give you 2 weeks notice when they fire you or lay you off, so they don't deserve it either.
There's a labor shortage because people are fed up with shit jobs. Something about being labeled "essential" and making shit money. You're wrong about this. You sound like a "pull yourself up by your bootstraps, poor person" republican. If that's not your intent, reevaluate your stance.

You are pretending they can't find another job and just have to accept defeat and work for a fascist. I stated that there's plenty of jobs out there, so that's not a valid excuse. We've known who this guy is and what he represents for at least 3 years now. Anyone still working for him at this point is either cool with the fascism or outright support it themselves. Stop making excuses for shitty people.
