I like that having the link there implies that some people might not know that the civil war happened or, even more inexplicably, think that it happened indoors ๐
I would assume that they didn't have it outdoors when it rained. Even more considering that they hadn't reached umbrella technology.
Actually, they PREFERRED fighting in the rain! People were total weirdos who loved crappy weather back then. Plus most of them were sexually aroused by mud.
To be fair wars frequency don't have the decency to stay outside or leave your inside intact. This includes, sadly, the current war on drugs.
