Hi!

I'm looking for a VDI solution, that I can use for a training I am wanting to give. Let me give some context.
I want to be able to provide an environment for a maximum of 24h in which 10-15 students get a browser based virtual desktop that they can login to with some applications preinstalled.
After I'm done with the training, I want the student to be able to use the environment for the rest of the day, after which the environment will be shutdown (either automatically or by hand).

Are there any solutions that can either run on my own hardware or a major cloud provider?

What do you thing of Kasm Workspaces.

You can create a Desktop workspace, different diestros and environments to choose from. And you can create users so each user has his own login.

That looks really promising, thank you!
Gonna try that out :)

Not if your apps run on Windows only.

I was not planning on running windows apps, just debian based desktop environments.
