Why does McDonalds keep having problems?
(feddit.de)
Public Blue Screens Of Death
Public displays and digital infrastructure software failing to do their job because of blue screens, crashes or other problems
I love going to these restaurants with all display menus that rotate between ads. It's seriously awesome when I go up to the counter and ask them what they even have and they tell I need to wait a minute till the ad changes. I am not going to immediately walk out of the next restaurant that does that to me.
Annoys me too, they either expect you to know the menu by heart or just buy what they advertise. As far as I know it's not that bad at McDonald's germany, since we have a small printed out menu at the wall near the counter.
Wait what are they doing‽ I don’t go out to fast food often at all and haven’t heard of this before. The extreme pervasiveness of advertising feels like people trying to parody themselves
A bunch of restaurants, not even chains but trendy new places too, put up a big screen tv to display their menu. But because you can, they will rotate between the menu and photos of goulash being made with child labor. While I'm in favor of kids making goulash I wanted to look at the menu. So the menu's back and you start reading it. Then suddenly, you guessed it, kids making goulash.
