Fucking I wish, me and my brother stopped talking after we fought so much as kids and now that we're adults every time we meet it's like awkward conversation trying to rekindle something that was never there

Sorry to hear that. Must have been some pretty bad fights. Me and my brother (I am one year older) fought a lot when we was kids but eventually we grew out of it

Me and my siblings also fought a lot as kids, but as adults we're closer than ever. Some people grow distant and some people grow closer with time, nothing you can do about it.

Yeah, its not like we're not wanting to be make up, we just don’t seem to be wired that way

you gotta find an activity to do together. Something that takes the stress off and lets things fall out naturally.

When my sisters and I watched my mother and her sister fight bitterly when their mum was dying we resolved to never grow so estranged.

It's not always been comfortable, but the biggest thing has just been to make sure we do things together. For us it's cooking days where we teach recipes, board game days, sports practice, language practice, minding each other's kids (mostly childless me hanging out with them and taking the stress off a bit). That sort of thing

I hope you can find something to lower the barrier with your bro :)
