If Russia wins the war- nothing changes. If Ukraine wins the war- nothing changes. The choice is easy!
No one really wins a war, they just gain control. Russia has not path to victory so that isn't even an option. They are dug in and unable to maneuver, but able to hide behind Russian SAMs. Once Ukrainian forces breach the defensive line Russian forces will collapse and the loss will be great. In the end NATO gains a foothold along the Black Sea and checks Russia into vital areas to the point it can never fight in Europe.
So when what you talked about happens, we will get universal healthcare?
Post War I think Ukraine will become a European powerhouse and be very wealthy. They have already applied for EU membership and I believe the nation will greatly help all members of the EU.
Thanks for not taking the bait. It shows you think more deeply about these subjects then others. I hope you’re right, but I fear Ukraine is unfortunately in a pivotal region with a port. Not sure Russia or China can allow that positioning.
China is a slave to Western markets and is kept in check as long as that remains. Russia is likely going to erupt in a military civil war for control the moment Putin is out of power. It will not be peaceful and it will wreck an economy already in decline. Here is the thing, I believe China will invade Russia and retake Vladivostok that Russia took from them and Russia will not be able to counter that. It actually could end up a puppet seat of China if it isn't careful.
Didn’t China recently move more troops there and perform military exercises?
They've done that before since it is also near North Korea.
