Not sure if this is the right sub but thought you guys might have some ideas, basically my situation is:
- Rented house, so can't punch any ethernet through walls.
- WiFi router is in Room A. Can't be moved, that's where the fibre comes out.
- My setup is in Room B, above Room A. WiFi signal is extremely poor.
- Room A and Room B are on different electrical circuits so powerline extender not an option.
- There isn't anywhere a WiFi extender would work.
Is there some way to rectify this? Perhaps buying a router to sit in Room A which has extremely strong signal - if so, any recommendations? I am open to spending some money to make it work. In the UK.
Thanks
Plug in an AP to the router downstairs and flip it upside down.
