Hi,

I hope I'm at right place. I have some old HDDs and SSDs. They are all coming from old laptops. I would like to make a rack or buy one in which I can put them. But I don't even know where to search for proper solution. I wonder if anyone can point me into right direction.
My ideal solution would be to be able to mount any HDD/SSD. Share it over wifi/ethernet. Some kind firewall.

Thank you...

What you're looking for is called "JBOD enclosure" (JBOD stands for "just a bunch of disks")... Be sure to get a SATA one; there are also ones that work with SAS drives... Once you have an enclosure with some drives in it, you can connect it to a NAS server via USB or, hardware permitting, Thunderbolt.
