Firefox users are reporting an 'artificial' load time on YouTube videos. YouTube says it's part of a plan to make people who use adblockers "experience suboptimal viewing, regardless of the browser they are using."

To be honest, I don't know either.

But it sounds like you want to continue to use the YouTube services and algorithm. Which is fine, but can't exist without someone tracking everything you do.
