My cat is obsessed with sniffing my shoes whenever I leave them out. I think this falls in line with cat behavior.
They are savoring the unique bouquet of your feet.
That and the soles of your shoes also tell their own unique story.
True, she is probably smelling all the interesting things I stepped on when I went out.
